Gone are the days of baggy low-quality joggers that were acceptable to wear.

Whether you're going for a run, boxing outdoors, or lifting weights, you'll want to be in a stylish and comfortable pair of joggers.

In this article, I'm going to cover the best workout pants for men. I've personally tried and tested these joggers. However, they've all served different purposes.

For instance, I never actually work out in my Nike Tech Fleece pants but I only wear my Lululemon ABC Joggers to the gym. I think this is because my Nike's have a great shape but they disfigure quickly and bead up so I avoid working out in them. Whereas the Lululemons are much higher quality and can take the workouts fine.

But that's enough about me!

I'm going to share all of the options that I think are best for working out so you can make an easy and informed decision in 2024.

I'll be honest, these workout pants are not cheap! My jaw always drops when I see the price of Lululemon products but I like to remember that they're quality products that truly last. I like these workout pants because they're stylish (you can wear them around the city) and they're built to last. You'll have no problem working out in these and keeping their shape after many washes.

Gymshark Crest Joggers

  • Price: $38 USD
  • Material: Lining: 80% Cotton, 20% Polyester
  • Overall rating: 9.5/10

Firstly, these look awesome. Especially with a pair of white sneakers as you can see above. Secondly, these are mostly cotton and I prefer to wear cotton since it's healthier. Gymshark has over 10 different colors and a range of sizes that should fit your specific build. I find them comfortable, stylish, and amazing value for money.

Nike Tech Fleece

I want to say that I used to love these. I wore them almost every day for many years. However, I don't like that Nike has started making pants for men over 6ft. A lot of the time I'll try a pair on that fit around the waist but are way too long (I'm 5'9). It never used to be like this so I find the quality and sizing to be inconsistent. In saying that, they are comfortable, they usually last a while (unless you get a pair that bead quickly), and they're stylish.

Underarmour Sportstyle Joggers

  • Overall rating: 6.5/10

Under Armour is a brand that's grown on me. I often wear Under Armour signlets and jackets since they fit perfectly! Their workout pants are no different. They're comfortable, stylish, great quality, and they're a snug fit. The only reason I rate them so low given they seem great is the fact they're 100% polyester. I don't particularly like polyester clothing.

SOL GYM Cotton Tapered Sweatpants (Black)

Sol Gym is owned and operated by Sol Brah, a famous wellness influencer. These workout pants are made for the conscious male who prefers to wear healthy clothing and support the cause. They're slightly baggy and not as perfectly designed as others on the list but I like them since they're a statement piece.

Southpole Active Basic Jogger

  • Price: $30 USD
  • Material: 100% Polyester
  • Overall rating: 6/10

I'll be honest, I didn't want to include these on the list at first. I think they're cheap, made with low-quality material, and fit weirdly. However, they're super cheap! They also have over 19,000 ratings on Amazon with 4.4 stars. Men love these sweatpants. With over 15 colors and 11 sizes, you'll find a pair that fits you perfectly.

Alo Co-Op Pant

  • Overall rating: 6/10

These workout pants are super expensive, although they're water-repellent, have handy side pockets, are ultra-flexible, and are very lightweight. Overall I think they're great for yoga and everyday activities. I wouldn't spend $138 on yoga pants since there are better options on this list although they do look great. They have hundreds of reviews with over 4.2 stars.

The North Face Men’s Standard Joggers

The North Face is one of my favorite brands. I own their hats, t-shirts, puffer jackets, and workout pants. My favorite is the standard men's standard joggers by far. The level of detail The North Face puts into its products is insane, and the reviews confirm this. They have over 70 5-star reviews recommending the standard joggers. If you're looking for something you can run in or train outdoors in then I recommend these workout pants.

I suggest figuring out what sort of workout pants you want first and then shortlisting a few based on your budget.
